# Templates

> Six starting points for a new voice agent, and the full prompt of each.

Every new agent starts from a template. A template fills in the prompt, the first message, an avatar and a voice that suit it, and sometimes conversation settings. You can change all of it.

| Template | Avatar | Voice | First message | Settings it changes |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| **Customer support** | Maya (`ava7`) | Olivia | Hi, I'm Maya. What can I help you with today? | |
| **Sales assistant** | Sam (`ava6`) | Adrian | Hey, I'm Sam. What brings you here today? | |
| **Screening interviewer** | Daniel (`ava4`) | Edward | Hi, I'm Daniel. Thanks for joining. Shall we get started? | Eagerness **Patient**, 30-minute calls |
| **Receptionist** | Claire (`ava5`) | Ashley | Hi, I'm Claire. How can I help you today? | |
| **Tutor** | Sam (`ava6`) | Adrian | Hi, I'm Sam. What are we working on today? | Eagerness **Patient**, 30-minute calls |
| **Start from scratch** | Sam (`ava6`) | Adrian | Hi, how can I help you today? | |

Everything else starts at the [defaults](https://docs.talking-avatar.dev/voice-agents/conversation-settings.md#defaults).
